Consignment Policy

This policy establishes guidelines for sourcing and selling consigned products at Pages and Parcels, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with our brand. We primarily work with reputable vendors and suppliers.

Eligible Consignors

Consignment opportunities are available only to:

  • Established vendors, distributors, and recognized suppliers.

  • Vendors must provide an inventory list with SKU numbers, product descriptions, and pricing details.
  • Independent authors and publishers whose books meet our Independent Author Book Policy (refer to the policy for submission guidelines).

  • Other creators whose products align with our brand and audience.

Accepted Products

We accept:

  • Books that meet our Independent Author Book Policy.

  • Only products that align with our brand and audience.

  • All items must be new, unused, and in marketable condition.

All items must be high quality, unused, and properly labeled. Pages and Parcels reserves the right to reject any items that do not meet our standards.

Consignment Terms

  • Commission & Pricing: Pages and Parcels retains a pre-negotiated percentage of the retail price. Final pricing is at our discretion.

  • Consignment Period: 90 days, after which unsold items must be collected or renegotiated.

  • Ownership: Items remain consignor property until sold, at which point payment is issued within 30 days.

Payment & Reporting

  • Payments are processed monthly or within 30 days of a sale.

  • Consignors receive sales reports for transparency.

Loss, Damage & Liability

  • Pages and Parcels will take reasonable care of all consigned goods but is not liable for loss or damage due to theft, fire, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Return of Unsold Goods

  • Unsold items must be collected within 21 days after the consignment period ends. If not retrieved, they may be donated, disposed of, or retained at our discretion.

Termination of Agreement

  • Pages and Parcels may terminate any consignment agreement with a 30-day notice.

  • Vendors may request early termination if all accounts are settled.

Agreement & Approval

All consignors must sign a formal Consignment Agreement before products are accepted for sale.
