The Next Chapter 5K is our annual Independent Bookstore Day tradition. It is where movement, local business, and community pride come together to celebrate what we have built and invest in what comes next.

What began as a grand opening celebration has grown into something bigger. Each spring, runners, walkers, families, and neighbors gather not just to complete 3.1 miles, but to show up for the future of our town.

This event reflects who we are at Pages and Parcels.

We believe small businesses can create real local impact. We open our space and resources to nonprofit and government groups at no charge. We reinvest in local partnerships. We commit a portion of our revenue each year to strengthening the community we call home.

In 2026, 1 percent of all Pages and Parcels' top-line revenue will support the Hickory Hill Park Foundation. Their team will help bring the celebration to life with food and drinks, while the UW Platteville Band and The Stoney Boys keep the energy high. The result is not just a race, but a full-community gathering.
